32,000 yo plant brought back to life
Those botanists... Worship

The oldest plant ever to be regenerated has been grown from 32,000-year-old seeds—beating the previous recordholder by some 30,000 years."

How will the YEC explain this one you think?

If it works like dogs, then maybe 32000 Plant-Years are like 6000 Human years?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Oh, I think I get it now...

1) God created the universe
2) God created Adam
3) God created Eve because Adam was walking around with a stiffy all day which made God angry
4) God created Squirrels and the squirrels became hungry
5) God created Silene stenophylla
6) And everything was good and everyone was happy
7) Then God kills us all for our own good
No God, No fear.

Science proves the bible is right because of fine tuning, but then the bible proves science is wrong because science is hard, and then a plant has a near death experience and everyone wins.

Ah, a plant has been revived after being in a coma for 32,000 years, it's a proof of miracles, all praise jeebus.

In other news, plant psychics have revealed the divine messages that this plant has brought us from it's visit to heaven, and you can know your personal message as well, for a meagre donation of $99.99

The plant cannot be God's creation.
God only revealed himself to us through Jesus 2000 years ago.

So which one is it theists?
Did God create the universe and fuck off for 30,000 years or did the plant evolve from something else?
No God, No fear.
