I can give you answer to question of what has tested my faith. And one of the things is animals eating animals while they are still alive out in the wild. I thought why would God make it so. I thought that human cruelty is a matter of choice hence the free will , so you have to have it but why this? Why make ants and other insects that we walk on at times? These are some of the things that in past have tested my faith. Thanks

If asked, could you describe a dragon? I would say yes, most people can.

But do you believe in them? Most likely no.

As to the OP, Since the universe is old beyond our imagining and vast beyond our comprehension a(theoretical) intelligent first cause would similarly be far beyond our ability to understand or perceive.

So even if there is a IFC(or, if you prefer, god) it is exceedingly unlikely that it knows or cares about us.

It appears you are not exactly clear on what athiesm means. I'm not sure what your trying to say. It would be maybe better asked if you asked us how we would invent a God or superhero even. I think your question would be better answered by a pastafarian.

I would suggest to you to understand how basic microbes eat other microbes which are eaten by larger creatures and then larger all the way up the foodchain to an apex predator. It has nothing to do with a Creator but simple economics. The species that adapted to eat other life instead of foraging all day has more time for mating and rearing young.
