Thousands of Xtians flock to see magical menswear
Thousands flock to see some ridiculous belt that is supposed to have magical powers:

Personally, I can think of 642,092,294,345 better ways to waste time. Especially since it's below freezing there, and the average wait is 26 hours.

May I ask if Protestants are as prone to this kind of veneration of stuff they assume to be from the time of Jesus, as their Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox brethren are?

Yes they are. I know of one whose purpose in life seem to be to save up enough so she can retire and go live in Isreal, where closer proximity to where her savior supposedly died and rotted would enable her to form a closer to a personal relationship with the compost.

A belt with magical powers? Pfft. I've got a jacket that you can pull inside out and wear it with a different color.

I wonder how many of those people came down with colds or the flu after kissing that belt that was kissed by a couple hundred other people in line before them?
Poor birthers. What are they going to do in 2016? I mean, nobody cares about them now, but after 2016, really nobody will give a shit about anything they have to say. They're still beating a dead horse now, but in 2016 there will just be a few bone fragments and a puddle of goo where a dead horse once lay.

Hey if Mary had a belt maybe she could have kept her pants on when the holy ghost came sniffing around. We'd have a lot less trouble in the world today.

The stupidity of the religious nonetheless never fails to amaze me.
