Yeah, I clicked "I accept [the rules]." Are you telling me that you've never wanted to close an account with any website? How about with a bank, or an elitist grocery store that requires membership?

We don't any longer that I know of. Admin would have to verify before I'd be certain.

The only account I want to "close" is an account with a game company that I no longer know my info for and yet charges me 80 dollars yearly (will get the subscription ended by the next time). I honestly do not give a shit if they keep the info.

The "good reason" you seek is that I don't want my "thechristophershow" name on this website. That's a good reason because it concerns me and I am the only one who knows whether or not it's a good reason BECAUSE it concerns me. It doesn't concern you why. It is not your business why. It is not for you to judge whether it's a good reason or not.

Your game-company example is analogous to my bank example.

The rules and TOS of this site are not, "You can't close your account and you will be harrassed if you ask us to." The TOS are that you obey the rules. There is nothing in the TOS that says my account can't be closed, so there is nothing wrong with my asking to close my account. I am not in violation of the TOS in asking this.

If it's "impossible" to close my account, fine. All of this could have been avoided if someone said that in the beginning instead of the harrassment.
