Easy arguments against the Bible, and religion as a whole
RE: Easy arguments against the Bible, and religion as a whole
Not a very good example of the American education system is my thinking WelshC.

Judeans are the same thing as them. they're the same culture as written about in the bible.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

No they are not although you and your little book would like to think so. Read or watch "The Bible Unearthed" The authors are Israel Finkelstein, Professor of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University, and Neil Asher Silberman, a contributing editor to Archaeology Magazine.

One of many references I have already give both You and Acke

here's some information on your source

Wikipedia Wrote:The book remarks that, despite modern archaeological investigations and the meticulous ancient Egyptian records from the period of Ramesses II, there is an obvious lack of any archaeological evidence for the migration of a band of semitic people across the Sinai Peninsula,[12] except for the Hyksos. Although the Hyksos are in some ways a good match, their main centre being at Avaris (later renamed 'Pi-Ramesses'), in the heart of the region corresponding to the 'land of Goshen', and Manetho later writing that the Hyksos eventually founded the Temple in Jerusalem,[13] it throws up other problems, as the Hyksos became not slaves but rulers, and they were chased away rather than chased to bring them back.[13] Nevertheless, the book posits that the exodus narrative perhaps evolved from vague memories of the Hyksos expulsion, spun to encourage resistance to the 7th century domination of Judah by Egypt.[14]

what's the title? Origin of the Israelites. who didn't exist?

Such a fucking tool. Hey. Do you know the name of the pharaoh who chased the Hyksos out of Egypt? Ahmose I

He was so successful he established 4 centuries of Egyptian domination over Canaan which did not end until the middle of the 12th century BC.

Ahmose? Moses? Hmmm.... sounds like your story tellers garbled history.

No; don't be silly. He referring to the hundreds of archeological dig sites found over the world that were described in the bible. Also; several events and people from the bible being mentioned in other sources.

That is really mean, for no reason. Why do you feel the need to be so insulting? Thats a common factor I tend to see in athiesm...

Regardless; how about you respond to my rebuttal, instead of just attacking me? It makes me sad how atheists seem to be so interested in a logical, sensible discussion until it is time to actual have one.

Because you and your kind seem to insist on being an insult to education in general, religion in particular and ignorant of research to the point of distraction.
