This is just going to go round in circles of irrationality and tautology. TL;DR: Learn to use your own moral thinking capacity and stop parroting the Bible to avoid responsibility for you hideous ideas.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.
-Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, 1782 I wonder if Thomas Jefferson is in "Hell" for his statement? Being gay is a decision even though that "decision" was made either through an act or subconscious level. However, the real decision is made at the physical act itself. Probably I am referring to criminal law to decipher the distinction. I am sure even Islamic judges or even past Christian judges, of the colonial era, looked at acts or statements to determine if someone is gay. Being gay should never be a crime. However; many states, and nations, utilize criminal law and procedures and then apply punishment for being gay. In the United States, the form of punishment is the denial of civil union (and marriage ceremonies). The previous is simply punishing a person because they have made a conscious decision to declare their homosexual sexual orientation out in public. Just like having beliefs, gay distinction(or declaration) should be protected as a "belief" of conscious. It is socially acceptable because such a declaration would not violate others natural rights. I think our society, especially in some parts of America, has evolved to accept such distinction. In the same manner, someone who is Gay or Christian or Jewish does not harm my conscious. If Jesus is god, or if there was a god, then that god will deal with all persons in the afterlife or judgment day. The problem today; is that many Christians have taken the existence of gays, and those who disagree with them, as the reason for natural events going against their luck. Moreover, taking natural events and attributing them as "supernatural" events. In other words, the cause of bad omen is the existence of gays and others within society. This has to be refuted. If you were an Israelite- still the only group to be saved by Jesus, by the way!- would you be cool with killing us? It's a matter of race, now? Are you sitting there just thinking "Ooh, I really wish I could kill these atheists! Too bad I'm [insert race here] and not an Israelite, else I'd kill them all without fear of punishment!"?

CristW, if sexuality is a choice, when did you choose to (presumably) be heterosexual? Better yet, why don't you "choose" to be homosexual? Seriously; choose to be sexually attracted people of the same gender. Change what you like by sheer force of will. I dare you. Fucking idiot.
