He is saying that if suffering brings you to get so desperate you are willing ti take the god placebo than cancer can be good.

It doesn't explain why Christians get cancer? I thought Christians believed in a fallen world

Seriously? Cancer is just another manifestation of the 'wind and rain' jesus talked about in the parable of the wise and foolish builders. It is meant to test our foundations and shore up our houses.

Look at all the bad crap that happened to the apstoles.. Being Christian doesn't keep you from bad stuff, what it does is provide you with someone who will help carry you through the storms of life.

No one would blame you.

I'm not keen on those references myself. Pawpaw (my gramps) was in a real foxhole in Korea - you know, a real hell.

So was mine, but he was probably shooting at yours.

Ugh, cancer is one of God's tests? That's...rather horrifically disgusting.

Your family Korean Drich?.......my fuckin spidey sense was tingling about C. Fl Korean Congregations........
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Drich and I actually agree on something:
We both hope he gets cancer.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

Unless Drich's dad is Vietnamese, he couldn't have shot at my dad.

Drich, I can't remember the bible verse but somewhere Paul states that the bad things in life are not caused by god. I am on my phone and I do not carry a bible with me so I can't look up the verse

So what's the trick? One must have the attonement offered by Christ. According to Paul to his letter to the Galations, this 'gospel' is the canonical/biblical Gospel. All other 'new gospels' are false.

I repeat:

And of course, his game of mental tennis without the net:

That settles it!

I hope Drich remains on the Christian side because the aspects of his personality that make him come off as ajerk would probably carry over into atheism

You better be referring to a Korean grandfather of yours. It's not something I'd post a stupid laughing emoticon about..
