Use of religious language in every day speech
|
The only time I use religious language... is during sex. And given that it's alongside 'fuck' and <insert (general) good sex sounds here>: I'm inclined to believe that 'god' is a real sex fiend.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
Our 2 year old picked up "Oh God" from somewhere. I don't say that (I might say "Jesus fucking Christ!" on occasion, but not around him!) and neither does my wife, but it's kind of got her in a tizzy. She's religious so doesn't want him to say it, I really don't care if he does or not, but probably best that he doesn't. I can always teach him to say "Jesus fucking Christ!" when he gets older.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

I wonder if I'll naturally exclaim like, "fuck Jesus!" or something like blasphemy. Sometimes, I couldn't refrain my random thoughts then 45 pounds of dumbbells fell on my toes.
Awkward, yet funny experience. Once, the 50 pounds [I guess?] of Bed's structure fell on my feet. I exclaimed ---- F**k r**ing, bastardized holy son of *beep!* I'm sure you can understand what I am trying to say. Awwwkwardly. |
