So...unless my eyes are deceiving me...the "cop" was in plain clothes...runs up with his gun out shouting but never ID'd himself as a cop and is surprised when the car tries to get away?  At no point was the cop in any danger of being run over...unless a car can go sideways and he just blew the guy away.

Oklahoma City cop faces assault charges after punching high school student in the head

Oklahoma City, OK – A school resource officer was recently arrested after he was caught assaulting a student on a surveillance recording. The student had reportedly been in the hallway without a pass, and after he was confronted by officer Thomas Jaha, he went to get a drink of water.

Since he did not leave the hallway immediately and go directly back to class, Jaha went into a rage and attacked the 16-year old boy. Jaha is now facing a misdemeanor assault charge.

Cops - especially cops with a fucking attitude - do not belong in schools.

A police officer in Texas who was being criminally prosecuted for shooting dead an unarmed black man has persuaded a judge to throw out the charge against him by arguing that he enjoyed immunity under the US constitution.
Charles Kleinert, who killed Larry Jackson Jr while serving as a City of Austin police officer, will no longer face a manslaughter trial after a federal judge ruled on Thursday that Kleinert had protection from state charges because he also worked for a federal task force.
