But the sheriff seems to have other problems of his own making.

The sheriff was indicted in September on nine counts — including three counts of harassment, three counts of official misconduct in the first degree, one count of attempted assault in the fourth degree, one count of assault in the fourth degree and one count of strangulation.
Seven of the sheriff’s 30 deputies asked to be placed on leave after they were questioned about Skrah in the excessive force investigation.
Two women who serve as prosecutors have also accused Skrah of sexual harassment.

"The video clearly shows Robert Johnson was not carrying a weapon. ... The Police Department planted that gun."

Chuck Arnold, the former Sheriff of Gibson County was recently indicted on 113 separate corruptions charges relating to his time as sheriff. However, after his arrest he was quickly released on a $10,000 bail, which is incredibly low when compared to the bail rates that are assigned to everyday nonviolent offenders.

Well, fuck.... it isn't like he was driving with a broken tail light or something serious!
