Well,the Egyptian religion lasted for over 3000 years before dying out. I think i't's reasonable to assume all current religions will eventually fade away,to be replaced by God-knows-what. (sorry). Might be something loopy such as Scientology,or personality cults of various kinds such as those often seen in totalitarian states.I mean, we already have Oprah

Since there seems to be a strong correlation between poverty/ignorance/illiteracy and superstition/religion,I suspect some nasty,parasitic forms of religion will continue to be with us for a very long time.
