Oh, really? And what about anti-semitism? Was that not a doctrine? Then what did pope Paul IV do in 1964?
And in a generation or 2 - I'll bet your descendants will claim that oppression of homosexuals was "never a doctrine" and that "it's just what happened back in the days". Yeah - ignorance is bliss, isn't it. And it also helps to be a hypocrite...
