I'll have to agree with Thena on this. While negative traits are unattractive regardless of who has them, there are some that are particularly repulsive on men and some that are particularly repulsive on woman. Being petty is particularly repulsive on men. Being cold hearted is particularly repulsive on woman. Just my opinion. I don't have a problem with acknowledging differences between masculinity and femininity... It is those differences that makes each sex unique and special.
Anyway, getting back to the actual subject of the thread, I can't say I blame the guy for doing what he did. I'd probably behave much worse if I caught someone I loved cheating on me, so who am I to judge? Not saying what he did is the right thing to do or the best and most honorable thing to do, but given the circumstances of what just happened to him, I don't blame him and won't be sitting on any sort of high moral ground.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
