And exactly how would "The church" know if it was a miracle?
If a magic god appeared in their midst and told them that it was a real miracle that a woman's eyes were healed by his god magic then the appearance of the magic god is just as big a miracle.
The real way they would decide it's veracity is to evaluate it's pro's and con's with their PR people..
