Saying "all lives matter" is like going to green peace who have signs saying "save the whales" and then saying, "No, save all animals." Sometimes certain groups of people need the spotlight on them when they are being mistreated.
Saying black lives matter, I understand is a way to put the focus on black lives, but what you don't realize it's purpose it to also sideline the rest. Think of it as white lives matter. I bet most people's initial reaction is racists, or white supremacy. I've been reading up on the communist party USA just for fun lately, because of all the marxists on this forum. Seems to be the common divide and conquer technique to trigger revolution:
