Ok I think that those place in Africa where people pay to hunt animals is a good idea. From what I can tell it funds conservation and the animals have large spaces to roam within.
I think black lives matter is a poorly organized group that directs too much anger at police officers and white middle class people rather than black violent criminals who do most of the killing of other black people.
I don't like a lot of the things tax payers money goes to in the UK, to an extent I'm against what I see as over extensive treatment for surgeries, therapy and speech therapy for transgender people in the circumstances we have now in the NHS.
4 billion pounds being given to Syrian aid, not that I'm against charity for Syria even though I think some of that probably does fund terrorism, but I'm against the way it was reported that David Cameron "pledged" 4 billion pounds worth of aid for Syria. He basically took it from tax payers and gave it to a cause that has a lot of sympathy at the moment to gain popularity, there's no empathy involved, it's not his own money and the people who owned the money had no choice in the matter.
The Royal family. I've heard they generate income via the tourism they create. If the royal family do generate more income than they receive from taxes I don't understand why they aren't simply a private business. It would even be better if it was just the royal person, we pay one person rather than an entire family to be well liked, rich, fly around the world and shake hands with people for reasons of tradition.
I can't think of more right now, I think everyone on here knows my most controversial opinions, I think the best and most thought provoking threads are the controversial ones.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
