Females are three times as likely to attempt suicide than males.
That, proportionally, a far higher percentage of women have died in combat than men.
That 28% of women workplace deaths are homicides compared to just 9% for men.

I haven't gone through the rest, but, yeah... pretty fucking hilarious.

Quote:Men's issues are never discussed because most feminists view the problems faced by men as unimportant because they view men as "privileged". That is why there are things like the missing and murdered aboriginal women hysteria while 3/4 of murdered aboriginals are actually male according to RCMP stats. That's why there was a bring back our girls campaign all over the media for the Nigerian students while everyone ignored the fact that every single male student was slaughtered at that school, as well as in the surrounding schools, as is been happening for YEARS.

Such death. Much blood. Hilarious. Mmmm

My criticism was entirely based on you cherry picking numbers without consideration for context.  You were so busy trying to turn the tables on those dastardly feminists that you employed the same faulty tactic some of them employ.

Regarding the issue at hand, males have traditionally held the power in society.  They get more recognition, they get more money, they wield more influence, and they've created institutions (social and political) to enshrine themselves at the top of the hierarchy.

Now, these institutions have been slowly whittled away by feminists and their allies, and that's a good thing.  But there's still work to be done.

None of this, however, denies that, yes, men also face their share of problems, and that, yes, they're important and damaging.  The key difference, however, is that those issues, outside of, perhaps, divorce rulings, aren't institutionalized.  Or if they are, they're self-inflicted (see: Nigerian militants slaughtering male students due to the threat to savage patriarchal power they represent).

Also, I can't help but wonder if men's issues are ignored in favor of women's issues because men are seen as privileged, or because women are considered weak/fragile, and therefore it's a bigger atrocity in the eyes of a patriarchal society when they're harmed.  The whole "fairer sex" BS.

Ultimately, to me, it's a complex set of issues, ones that I don't have all the answers for.  All I know is that I try to treat people fairly.
