Being pan for some reason doesn't come with that stereotype. The worst I get is "huh?" or "so that's basically like being a PC bisexual right?" Lol I don't mind either of those.
I use both labels of bi and pan. I'm not fussed about it. I usually just say bi because if I say pan I usually end up having to explain myself which I don't always feel like doing.
Most people insist there's no difference anyways. I always say pan and when people ask if that means bi I just say yes lol
Using pan instead of bi is how I weed out the people I'm not interested in whenever I get a "duh does that mean you like pans? Derp derp" I put a big 'idiot' check by their name in my mental list
