Let us face it, in the United States, mistreatment is only for the minority and a specific minority. You need to realise that mistreatment of others again is something UNIQUE to the United States. If you were to come out of your bubble and look at the mistreatment of others in South America, Africa, Asia, the middle East, Australasia and Oceania, then you might actually say something along the lines like "well hey, I didn't realise that problems exist outside of the United States." Again, I say to you that you are culturally ignorant of other people that exist in the world today apart from two races; black and white.
No bubble here, RobertE.
I'm aware that injustice and oppression occurs across the globe, affecting countless people of all races, from various walks of life; No one here's suggested otherwise. Surely, you can't be so dense as to believe that merely discussing a specific issue necessitates that one abandon all interest and/or concern involving anyone or anything else in existence.
The premise of the discussion within this thread surrounds BLM demonstrations in the US. This whole 'staying on topic=cultural ignorance' bit is just a diversion you invented, because when it comes to the particulars surrounding the actual thread topic you don't know what the f*ck you're talking about...you just know you don't like it.
BTW/FYI:
On the contrary, I am loving it. Now get out of your bubble and start learning about other cultures like I asked you to earlier. Thanks for the information about quotes. I didn't realise I was committing a bannable offence.
