It may be that Dell or whoever puts on custom BIOS's that Microsoft doesn't want to deal with since they're not industry standard, who knows. If you give your computer to me to repair it I will do whatever I have to to get it back to you in pristine condition, and I don't need a license from anyone for that. And nor does an actual repairer either! Big Grin

That's what I thought also, when I told them my model of PC they tried to BS me that Windows 10 was not officially supported by them. I use a MSI laptop and I know company's can't use Microsoft in their products without a license. The rates that tech supports charges is outrageous, my coworker took her computer to Best Buy. She ended up paying well over $200.00 for a tune up. That's outrageous! A simple tune up should of been about $50.00 to $75.00 max.

We charge $45- $75 depending on how "dirty" a computer is. You wouldn't believe how some people treat their shit. One customer definitely got his money's worth at $75. His password is "samfucksmehardintheass69", and we had to clean up sticky keys in addition to the, heh, hard core virus removal that needed to be done.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
