Just to introduce myself: I'm Tim, a Christian from the UK, engaged (the wedding is at the end of July!) and a member of an Anglican (C of E) church. I'm interested in a wide-range of things from theology and philosophy to history to maths and science. Below is a picture of me wearing a silly hat in Cape Town in front of a stunning view from the top of Table Mountain a couple of years ago (I'm ever so slightly less skinny now).
See you around!
G'day mate from Adelaide South Australia. Ugly hat. I have a jungle green one just like it. (ex army)
C of E? (Catholicism lite) I guess if you MUST be a Christian, probably just about the most harmless flavour. Its members seem to be mainly pillocks of the establishment and little old ladies of both sexes who drink an ordinate amount of sherry and sing ghastly songs. The great thing about Anglicanism is that if you become an atheist ,nobody will notice.

Personal story, obliquely relevant:
About ten years go,a good friend had two boys who were choristers at Kings College Cambridge. I saw a lot of them in action, especially in the the beautiful Kings College chapel. I was brought up devout Catholic. I couldn't spot the difference in the ritual. (they even crossed themselves)

Unlikely, Anglicans tend to have more breeding than those dogmatic fundy and Christian-but-not-a member- of-a-church dropkicks we usually get here.
No Tacky, I don't mean you.
