It's not that people aren't smart enough to "get" it. It's that your stance is ludicrous to anyone who doesn't share your specific belief in magic men and magic worlds. I'm sure it is to many of those who share your general beliefs, as well. Your stance being along the lines of:
"Well...some women pretend to not like sex! More importantly, nothing is actually wrong; therefore rape isn't wrong...even "legitimate" rape.
It's just a thing that happens; consequences, and such.
If you're sore about it, and wish to be free from the devastating effects of these so-called "wrongs", seek atonement from my unseen Father...that'll put everything into perspective."
Your solution, is simply not a solution.
It side steps addressing the actual problem, and is wholly imagined garbage.
So, yeah...I'm fairly certain that's the source of the "disconnect".
