The boston marathon and 9/11 are included in the fbis stats on terror attacks. It's still less than 1% of all terror attacks, and similar fraction of lives lost. If you want to worry yourselves about terror attacks, give the evil eye to the white guy suitting in the pews next to you on sunday, that;s your perp...not the ragged masses.
No one's talking about taking care of the rest of the world. We're talking about accepting refugees that we are in an almost unique position to help. For once, they're high skill refugees from a previously modern state.....bonus. OFC we have our own problems, but we can walk -and- chew bubblegum, don't you think?
(that you chose to frame that particular family as having "gotten around" something is appalling, btw..do you think they would have been screened out...for what?)
