Oh please, as noted above, much of the rest of the world, and a lot of the left in our own country, have been calling us selfish assholes for as long as I can remember. It's only now that we talk about isolationism that those people pretend like they considered us big-hearted and welcoming.

I never did. Because of asswipes like you holding positions of power. But don't feel too special. They're virtually everywhere in this world. The one and only reason I take issue with you is your holier than thou attitide. You're a christian. Great example of why someone shouldn't listen to someone like you. I feel comfortable in saying that - being an atheist - I'm more in line with Jesus than you will ever be. I just don't care about the teachings of your bible. I just want to be a decent person. Can't be anything else without losing the ability to look in mirror. The kudos you get should tell you as much. They're only coming from sorry excuses of being human.
