Really? There are plenty of Americans on this board that don't have a single friend? That's probably bullshit, but if it's true, it's really fucked up, and might help explain why they don't care any more about fellow Americans than anyone else. They don't necessarily care more about foreigners; they may actually care less about the people around them. Atheists are more likely to be on the autism spectrum, so maybe you're onto something. Still, it's probably just bullshit.

It's not that they don't care about refugees. They just care more about feeling superior than they do about actually helping refugees. Sure, they could still care somewhat about the refugees. Personally I say that money talks. There are probably people with purple names here who've given more to the site then to refugees.
