I never noticed. Well when I first came to this site I didn't sleep for several days and felt delirious.
Technically "forums" is the correct version, since this site is a collection of forums (Discussion, Politics, Science, etc). The only reason the other site didn't have the 's' was because the domain didn't match with it.

Then why change it?
Because the domain of this site is more correct: "atheistforums.org"
