I imagine we all love or at least like the country we live in. But like everything else no nation is perfect. So what do you think needs fixing for my own country 10 things come to mind
1. Honor our fucking treaties with the native we promised them equality and justice we have failed them in both . and no this isn't "white guilt " because this isn't something of long ago. It's something going on now. And yes modern Canadians are responsible because we allow it to continue at our own peril.
2. We need a national drug strategy too many are doing without critical drugs and the provinces have proven there up to the job
3. Fix our military infrastructure or don't have a military . We have some of the best soldiers sailors and pilots in the world. But we force them to use out dated and often impropriate equipment that puts them in needless danger .Fix it or we don't go off fighting till we do.
4. We need to fix the RCMP (Mounties to non Canadians) For too long the RCMP has been black box infamy everything from sexual harassment .To mass abuse of people in custody. To Entrapment of Muslim youths. It's time to start opening the box (though worry about what we might find)
5.We need a national Addiction strategy many provinces have thought up effective solutions to the growing opioid crisis .It's time to nationalize it quickly.
6.Fix the infrastructure. We are 30 years behind
7. Fix mass transit were 40 years behind
8. Reform the senate stop making either the place you stash your cronies or the pit you bury you embarrassments.
9. Electoral reform and I'm not saying that because it would mean NDP would have a real shot at becoming the government
10. Stop sucking big oils cock during the 8 years of the Harper government I didn't know were the oil lobby began and the government began . And no I don't care if Alberta cries western alienation. The PMO is not your spokesman . And yes for decades liberals did this with Quebec . It wasn't right then it's Isn't right now.
