There's no need to imagine, as I've said it plainly. Actually, I've mentioned one reason, but I'll include a couple others.
The current projections, with the Paris Accord, have sea level increasing by 6-8 meters by the end of the century. That indicates that the global warming crowd:
- doesn't really believe the projections,
- doesn't think that 6-8 meters is a big problem, or
- thinks it will happen and will be a problem, but doesn't care anyway, perhaps because they'll be dead by then.
