Russians or at least people who were of Russian blood/heritage sort of faced a similar fate with the fall of communism in the 90s. Especially in predominantly Asian nations like Kazakhstan. My sister was a product of this. She is adopted and Russian. She was held in an orphanage in Almaty with several other Russian children. They did not want to keep these kids in the country so they were trying to get rid of them via adoption.
Maybe that's what the WLB, Jr. was meeting with that Russki lawyer about?
It's super unfair that russia can't skirt economic sanctions by selling all of those beautiful white babies to well to do american couples who don't have the time for the official adoption process here do to their super busy schedules being productive members of society and just maybe don't want a black one.
