People don't realize that the bible commands Christians to be very judgmental, it is just they aren't to judge people by standards other than that laid down in the bible.
Also at least in the Protestant denominations (I am not sure about the other ones) if one confesses Jesus and Lord and Savoir, along with saying sorry for sins they commit. They can commit all sorts of sins (including rape and murder) and still get into heaven.
