Therefor it is neither right or wrong. When the particles are found, which may never happen, then the truth wil be known. But it does exist, as the affects can be obseved in the physical world.

The only property of dark matter that we know is that it is massive. We have no idea how it might interact with known matter

There is a difference betwee unknown and incorrect.
That's the whole point
If something is unknown, it is meaningless to assign a random value to it!
