Not really. It’s about highlighting women’s history, nothing else. Women’s contributions to history / society are studied during the other 11 months as well. There is just a special focus on them for women’s history months.
To purposefully launch a series about male empowerment during women’s history month comes across as assholish.
I’m not opposed to male empowerment, I’m an egalitarian after all. I’m not opposed to a “men’s history month” if you really want to do one either. The timing here ruins the whole thing, makes it seem like a competition or a challenge/response.
I think the technical term is, “butt-hurt”. 😏
