That one works.
I can imagine the conversation.
‘What kind of fish is that?’
‘A lion fish. I got it in the Gulf of Mexico a few years ago.’
‘Funny-looking thing.’
‘I know, but what a great mounting job - you can hardly see the bullet holes.’

Pick one up with your bare hands and see who gets the last augh!
I was fishing many years ago in the eastern Sierras at a place called Rock Creek Lake Resort. The water was coming down from the eastern end of the John Muir Trail. There were something like 6 or 7 rainbow trout that I was trying to catch. I was casting from upstream, and could see that I was even hitting a couple of them on the nose with the bait, but they weren't hitting on it. I climbed up on some roots of a tree that was in the stream with a net. Whenever I got the net near them, they would swim sideways just far enough to avoid the net! Bitches.
Fun fact- my new wife and I hiked up near to the start of the John Muir Trail, which is at a place quite aptly named "Mosquito Flats".
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
