If only Joe had foreseen what a disaster Trump would be, maybe he wouldn't have given candidate Trump all that free air time during the last election season.
Um no,
I agree that I didn't like him at all when he replaced Don Imus. I didn't like Imus either.
But over the years, he like many in the GOP DID come to realize that they got it wrong. I still don't like that he wants to save that party, as if it could be. But like many other republicans, like John Kasich, Walsh, Jeb, Michael Steele, and even Mitt Romney voted to impeach.
McCain stuck up for Obama and it cost him the election.
Joe wasn't "predicting" in a superstitious context. But he also was not wrong. Even without Joe piping in plenty of people were warning America not to elect him, and those warnings were not from laypeople, but a broad spectrum of government intel.
My only problem with Joe, is that he still sells the Lincoln GOP forgetting or ignoring that Nixon's Southern Strategy changed all that.
But he most certainly isn't faking his fears of Trump. I think everyone should be afraid of 4 more years. I believe Joe in that respect.
And Joe isn't the entirety of Media. There are other channels. The problem with Trump is he is damned if you do, and damned if you don't. The sane want to ignore him, but just like Jim Jones, the consequences of not doing so is a double edge sword.
