Laws like that are already on the books. That's what remington is being sued over, and it's gone all the way to the supremes already.
Swords are sold as novelties or collectors items. Archery is a sport. When gun manufacturers went all in on that "kill the bad guy coming for you in your home" shit....they put themselves is legally perilous territory. They knew it then, too..but the money was just too good.
