Yes, Rev. Rye, you are right because those are the relevant points. Everyone is going to get covid and the narrative is crumbling. You don't think there's going to be a long term benefit in everyone getting covid, as in some level of herd immunity?
Look, I like you and you put in a lot more effort than others backing up your claims and I respect you for that, but all of these little points you're bringing up here are not relevant to this conversation. Everyone knows it's hard to lose weight and eat better or to quit smoking. In a free society, we let people make decisions about their own health, and that means they can go and huff paint, eat 3 large pizzas a day and go rock climbing during a hurricane. This is how free societies operate, and I wouldn't have it any other way. And the point you make about people being more protected against covid with the vaccine is not something I've ever disputed. I'm on board with this. I haven't suggested that adults not get the vaccine, so I don't see why this point keeps getting brought up. I've only suggested that they should get to decide what they do with their own life, whether that be taking a newly released vaxx or going rock climbing in a hurricane. I'm for personal choice and personal responsibility.
About the tyranny thing, you can think I'm going overboard with this type of rhetoric, but we see covid camps in Australia and 'taxing' people thousands of dollars for not taking a brand new vaccine. Hearing about covid camps and things like that may not raise an eyebrow for you, but it sure as hell does for me. Thankfully Quebec dropped their proposed unvaccinated tax "to keep the peace in society", and hopefully the truckers keep their protest up for a while still.
