I didn't answer your stupid thought experiment because it was a stupid thought experiment and not remotely worth my time. So get over the idea you have ever outwitted me. Because it has never happened and never will happen 

And as everyone else has said it's easy to pay a price with other people's lives.

You do realize, that by not answering my thought experiment, you have answered my thought experiment. I can now confirm that you would not be willing to give up your alcohol, to save thousands or tens of thousand of innocent lives, but you are happily willing to give up other people's rights (guns), that they own to hunt and protect their own families from intruders who would mean to do them harm.
