He's always been a failure to me, and it is no surprise that he has money trouble here.
That said, Trump still thinks he is somehow above all despite his failures and setbacks, even with winning the 2016 election, which I doubt he could have done on his own. I talked to my dad earlier about this, and he said something about Trump having ties to those like Putin and Arab countries. I would like to think that if he was really American, he would not depend on people from other countries, especially a person who rules a country and is maliciously slaughtering people of another country. Not that Trump cares about what people think of him if he gets that bond settled and paid with the help of the likes of Putin, but that is definitely not going to help people's perception of him if he were to get help from Putin on this, regardless of his not caring overall. Don't know the odds of whether or not he will get some Russian or Arab help from this, but yeah; if he were a billionaire, he should have this settled no problem. But thing is, he is not.
That said, to me, it is like he is asking people to hold his hand on things like this. The people of the USA, other republicans, Putin and Russia, the Arab countries he has connections to, those kinds of people. It is as if Trump does not have the confidence he can do things on his own.
He reminds me of Jay Gatsby.
