Also, fruit is a subset of vegetables, so all fruits are technically a vegetable. But when we say "vegetable" comparing it to a fruit, we usually mean a non-fruit vegetable (just like when we say "animal", it is implied to mean "non-human animal").(January 20, 2012 at 7:48 pm)padraic Wrote:Quote:Atheism is now officially a religion.
So what? In the US a tomato is officially a vegetable
1) It's a fruit.
2) How the fuck would they even know what a vegetable is? Oh yeah they put it on pizza. :p
Atheism, while not a religion itself, is a religious position. So of course we deserve the same rights as people with religion do. It's as simple as that.
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."
