Here's a lovely cat to look at.
If my money is taken by force & the threat of imprisonment, then it is stolen- by definition. I don't want to support social programs. But I have to, so I don't get tazered and/or a swat team coming down on my crystal palace.
The same way a robber will threaten me with stabbing/being shot if I don't comply with his spending habits.
There's no difference really.
