Whether I will take steroids or not is for me to decide when it comes to that time. I'd rather not of course for health reasons. Still undecided...
Undecided about blood doping and steroids? Ok, "I am undecided about heroine and cocaine".
I see so much of myself in you. So much stupid shit I did just because others were doing it too.
Started smoking to get even with my dad, plus it looked glammorous in the adds and in movies. Ended up having wild parties that could have gotten me and my mother arrested, just because I wanted to fit in.
You should give a shit about yourself, not what other athletes do or don't do. They are not super human anymore than you or I. They can do stupid shit too.
AGAIN, you want to play a certain sport, go for it. You want to mountain climb, go for it. You want to parachute out of a plane, go for it. But do those things for YOU, otherwise you are nothing but a different lemming just like I was.
I hate the concept of "role models" because they are merely human like you and when you follow someone like a lemming, they can lead you down roads you don't want to go. And then after it is too late there is nothing you can do.
Now your diet and exercise program should be base on one thing, what a doctor advises you to do, nothing more.
I don't smoke, do drugs, drink or w/e. So, leave me alone with the don't do drugs speech!
Steroids is different, since it has financial purpose and will get you more good stuff, at the price of health, same with working hard- like you can work 12 hours a day, and you will get something in return from that. For me, I am a very competitive person, I'm interested in winning, I really enjoy myself, practising, making things better- being productive. That's just how I am.
I respect results that person has, not pieces of paper in frames.
