Yes, whilst "implicit atheism" does tend to make theists uncomfortable, one need only come to a realization of its triviality in order to then come to the realization that we can "let the atheists have their implications," stop quibbling over words so much,(though I do enjoy quibbling occasionally) and simply ask atheists to qualify themselves when necessary. I think theists need to learn how to ask the question of atheists "What kind of atheist are you?"(in this definitional sense, of course)
