If I've learned anything on this forum, it's how atheists view the notion of a god or gods. You view it as ridiculous as the FSM. This is a very sobering realisation. You view god, like some 'Father Christmas', imaginary person. You may be right.
Going down memory lane for a minute, I was one of the last kids in my class to believe in Father Christmas. Me and this scruffy, neglected boy, whole heartedly believed in him, and happily 'preached' to our class mates of his existence. Hadn't mum heard the sleigh bells and seen him one time?? Our sincerity would have melted hearts. I repaid his loyalty by helping him find dog ends in the gutter (he had a 20 a day habit at 7). Anyway, I digress. Childish I know, but maybe there is some comparison there, somewhere...
