You know, I don't have anything against people with guns. But usually it's those with the guns that I talk to, who are 'afraid' of muslims or anyone else for that matter. Newsflash: no one's afraid of muslims taking over the government besides fear-induced wingnuts who want a reason to shoot someone else. Oh and Christians who are do afraid of another people and their beliefs that they'd be willing to kill them.
How is that any different from those in the middle east who actually do shoot each other? It's not.
Romanticizing about lawlessness and violence is in and of itself, wrong. I asked a friends brother why he was wearing a gun on his belt to his neices' bday party last night in a public place. He said someone said they were going to kick his ass and he was hoping they would try. That epitifies everything that's wrong with the US, not religious tolerance.
Newsflash: Religious tolerance does not equal Extremist tolerance.
Write that down.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
