100 stripes, without compassion, witnessed by all, for [i]flirting![
Can you prove that those punishments are wrong?
That question makes little sense. That's basically like saying:
"Can you prove that your appreciation for tulips is wrong"
or
"Can you prove that your chair is dsgdfghhdnj?"
How can someone prove that a punishment is wrong? A punishment is not a factual occurence within the natural order, it requires a conscious decision to inflict justice and/or retribution. You agree on a punishment, you don't prove its authenticity per se, you simply reason for or against it. You cannot prove that the punishment is right unless you're making reference to a pre-existing legal framework that lays out rational foundations. If what you mean is "Can you prove god didn't issue this punishment?" or "Can you prove that the punishment is wrong in the context of the existing islamic legal framework?" then we'd be on to something.
What I mean is that some people try to use things like that to disprove Islam, it doesn't

Quote:Can you prove to me that you're not completely mentally retarded? Because I strongly suspect that you are.Based on your beliefs, you are a mutation of non-intelligent process, so claiming to be intelligent is a stupidity by itself.
