Your beloved prime minister of Iran also called for a reverse of their extremely successful family planning saying that "women should focus on having kids" or something along those lines, and not working. Yes, awesome society for women there. I also saw this documentary, where women had to be photoshopped if their veil revealed hair. They had to photoshop the hair away, and photoshop their sleeves to make them cover 3/4 of their arms. This is Iran. And let's not forget that in many muslim countries, there are services for women where they can surgically reconstruct their hymen so that their husbands would think they're virgins. Why would anyone go through this kind of pain and trouble if muslim men respect women as equals?
A women's womb can hold the child of how many men? A man's sperm can go into infinite women. Just biologically, if a species is to reproduce and a specimen is capable of reproducing with multiple women what is most logical?
Quote:Second, what is the exact quote? Also, the fertility rate in Iran is less than average in the world. They really do need a higher fertility rate.
Quote:Women should work less and devote more time to their “main mission” of raising children, Mr Ahmadinejad said.
They are at replacement level for fertility rate. They are facing unemployment, whether or not they need a higher fertility rate doesn't justify saying women's main mission is to have babies. You do see that it's 2 different subjects?
Quote:Third, there's nothing wrong with the photoshop as what happens when a women's hair is long and flowing? It's extremely attractive. That women might have a husband, family. It's not righteous to fantasize over women and to sexually objectify them in your thoughts unless it's your wife. With the hijab that doesn't happen and the women is respected. She's not there for any man's vieiwing pleasure. Here's something you want to consider.
Women do not exist for your pleasure. They exist for themselves. And looking pretty makes a lot of them happy. They should not stop just because you believe in the crazy notion of thought crime. Because, if you remember, they do not exist for your sake.
Quote:If the women wants to lie about being a virgin then thats on her. Lying is a sin.So is not being a virgin, right? Everything's a sin with you guys. [/quote]

And no Iran does not support terrorists like al qaeda or taliban. They are enemies.
Iran censors and cracks down on dissenters as well as rig their elections. Sure, no human rights violations there.
