Proving Islam itself will come later.
No, you didn't prove your god exists. This is merely a claim and you've proven it to yourself, perhaps, not to everyone else. And convincing yourself of something is the easiest thing in the world to do.
As for proving your religion, that's what most theists claim. THEIR religion can be proved, no one elses' can.
Back on topic:
I'm a 28 year old highly educated female. Unmarried, no children.
What opportunities would I have in an Islamic country?
Please tell me both in a moderate Islamic country and a Conservative Islamic country.
By the way, we're all aware that recently Iran passed a law to limit the number of women in universities and what course they could take because they were outstripping the men in every field.
I'm from a moderate Islamic country (Malaysia). Basically you can do anything a man can do unless you're muslim then you're subject to shariah court. In which case, career wise you're not affected, but you can't drink, can't have public display of affections with anyone but your husband (so no one, for you), but these things are kinda lax, you only get caught if you have bad luck, almost no one will tell on you. If you're a nonmuslim you go by civil laws unless you somehow get into a legal dispute with a muslim then you end up in the shariah court. And the way they handle rape is really unfavourable to girls, just very recently the court approved the marriage of a 13 year old to her 40+ y.o. rapist and there was even talk of not pursuing the charges. Oh yes, child marriage is ok with us. (if raped by a muslim, shariah court is where you end up in)
Something that is really an inconvenience is how often they change their minds about what women can and cannot do. An imam once tried to say it's unIslamic for women to hold phallic objects like cucumbers or wear miniskirts (we're quite relaxed about dresscode, you can wear as little as you like), and recently they issued a fatwa stopping some muslim girls from participating in a beauty pageant. Sometimes, things overflow from the Shariah court and they use those laws to judge nonmuslims as well, it's just a matter of luck. So you don't have a guarantee of your rights not being violated even if the existing law doesn't already violate your rights. Because things change very often.
Mostly a source of inconvenience once you get used to it, if I'm being completely honest. Until shit happens to you that is, then it really gets real.
Oh and did i mention that if you're a nonmuslim you pay more taxes and barely get any benefits at all? Including government jobs (almost 90% muslims in a country where 40% are nonmuslims), scholarships, loans, cheap housings, business have a quota to hire more muslims, it goes on and on and on.
