Yes, actually, I stand corrected. I had actually read that a while ago, after I made my original post. I should also note that the mercury preservative has been largely discontinued because of concerns from anti vaccine nuts. I haven't looked up what the new preservative is that's replacing it, but my money says Wakefield will find something wrong with it.
It kinda reminds me of all these nuts who are upset over water flouridation. They can list poison after poison after poison with flouride in it and because of that, they assume flouride is also bad. I wonder how many of those poisons also include hydrogen, oxygen or carbon and should those be considered bad by the same logic? I mean, if you drink a bottle of iodine, that will probably kill you, but if you don't have any iodine, you're going to have some serious thyroid issues.
