Most atheists are open to the possibility that a god exist. What our position actually is, is that there is insufficient supporting evidence to justify BELIEF that a god exists.
Do you understand the difference?
Not really. It all sounds like one hand clapping to me.
I guess I will have to join you on the anti-theist part, without wholehearted philosophical agreement. I reserve the right to trademark atheist though and steal it from you
Lack of belief in a deity or deities. The non-formation of any sort of belief in a god or gods.
I have no concept of what a god is, what it does, what it looks like (etc). It should impossible to believe in something you have no concept of, hence lack of belief. However theists attempt to do this continually, despite the fact that when challenged to give something regarding their god, they never provide anything.
Much like a baby lacks any sort of belief in a god, it is the default position. People are converted to a religion by society/the environment, nobody is born believing in a Jésus, whatever that is.

Beliefs and opinions aren't evidence.
But if you wish to think so, it isn't my place to stop you.
It's a beautiful thing to see a rational mind in action. Kudos to you.
