If they can put a logical argument fair enough., the ''juvenile arguments, where they invent sci-fi-style scenarios and mimic popular atheist catch phrases.'' should keep you on your toes, and prevent all of us from taking ourselves too seriously.Young people don't always exhibit the best judgment, and the subject at hand is a pretty serious subject.
RedFish Wrote:'True contemplation'? What is that?Of course there are those who grew up in atheist homes, and I recognize some of them frequent this forum. But if a young person grew up in a Christian home, and has decided to adopt atheist views, a life-altering decision, they should at least fully understand the concept, and not just follow older, more popular figures that validate their emancipation from religion.
' Do not fully understand what they're into'?...Is this some sort of drug, this non-acceptance of God? If they are young, let them fly free. You were the same once, I hope.
This self-righteous BS is wearing thin. Seriously.
No one here knows all the answers, but for you to spout that somehow one's points are invalidated by AGE is so ridiculously delusional I don't know whether to laugh at you or treat you nicely. Good job on the speech about kids wanting to fight the power. I'm sure it works fine for the rambunctious youths that don't yet fear Hell, but not so well for those that realize an argument isn't just a bunch of baseless claims and assumptions mashed together.
You said you had evidence that God exists, said "look at how smart we are", and got your ass handed to you. Now, as a last ditch attempt, you're trying to make the views of the ones who intellectually owned your toothpick of an argument seem less credible, but it's just digging you deeper and deeper into the shit pile you're in.
